Who We Are
We are LGBTQ+ family members that have come together to help, support and celebrate the rainbow community. Providing resources to the community such as where to find affirming businesses, health care and food donations. Being a presence at pride events to show our support and celebrate to those who are living their truth and creating a safe space.
Our Mission
The mission of Mommabear & Friends is to support LGBTQIA+ folk by building community through social events such as craft and game nights, to provide a variety of resources such as referrals for social & mental health services, food drives, and donations of physical goods, and to celebrate LGBTQIA+ community members by our presence as Pride events, festivals and other gatherings.
Our Vision
Mommabear & Friends envisions a future where all members of the LGBTQIA+ community belong to a thriving village of friends and allies, where they have the resources they need to be successful in life and to live in a world that celebrates and accepts them as they are.
